Checking In
- What identification do I need? All guests must provide valid identification. Non-UK residents need their passports while UK residents can use a driving license or passport. You might also be asked for your corporate identification if you are staying on a corporate rate.
- Do I need a payment method? Yes! You’ll need a payment method to secure your room. We authorize a £75 per day hold on your card, giving you the freedom to enjoy hotel amenities and charge expenses to your room. We are a cashless property, so please keep that in mind.
- What if I have an advance purchase reservation? Don’t worry if you forget your original payment card! We can refund the initial payment and use a different method of payment when you arrive.
Getting to The Westin
- What are the entrances? The main entrance is on Upper Thames Street and is perfect for guests arriving by car. For those arriving on foot or by tube (the closest station is Mansion House), our north entrance on Huggin Hill is the way to go. Please note, the north entrance is accessible with hotel keys only between 10 pm and 7 am.
Dining at The Westin
- Where can I eat? You have a variety of choices! Mosaic is our vibrant all-day fine dining restaurant featuring global dishes, nutritious recipes, and local favorites. Hithe + Seek, our wine bar in the heart of the City of London, offers an interactive and explorative experience. Sip on carefully selected wines paired with delicious bites as the city lights sparkle. Don’t forget about our 24-hour In-Room Dining service for those times when you want to stay in.
Parking and Decor
- Where’s the nearest car park? The closest is NCP Thames Vintry, a short 10-minute walk from the hotel. Tip: Park your car before heading to the hotel. The one-way system around the hotel can make it tricky to get back to the car park.
- Can I bring my own decorations? We love to celebrate with you! However, for the sake of our rooms, we don’t allow external decorations. Our Guest Experience Team can help you create a special experience with a variety of decoration packages for different occasions.
Rooms and Shuttle
- Can I have a bath? Most of our rooms have showers, but you can enjoy a relaxing bath in our Signature Family and Luxury Family rooms or our Executive and Presidential Suites. Our reservations team can answer any questions you might have.
- Is there an airport shuttle? We don’t have an airport shuttle, but our concierge team can help arrange transportation options like trains, tubes, or car services.
Checking In with Young Guests
- What’s the age restriction for checking in? You must be 18 years or older to check in to a room at The Westin London City. Those under 18 are not permitted to stay unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. We may request valid photographic proof of identity and age.
