Escape the ordinary and discover a hidden gem in the heart of London – The Leonard Hotel. This charming establishment offers a delightful blend of traditional hospitality and modern comfort, making it the perfect choice for discerning travelers.
A Welcoming Retreat
After a frustrating experience at another hotel, we stumbled upon The Leonard while in a taxi. Booking was a breeze – just our names were needed, no credit card details over the phone. The hotel’s warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately set our minds at ease. We were greeted with a glass of champagne in the lounge while they prepared our room, a testament to their dedication to personalized service. The wait was minimal, and within ten minutes, we were settling into our cozy room.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The food was delicious, and the overall ambiance was charming and homely. The value for money was exceptional, making this hotel an absolute steal, especially considering its prime location in London.
We were so impressed that we knew we’d be back if we ever needed to travel to London again.
A Suite Experience
Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite, which significantly enhanced our experience. The hotel’s elegant ambiance, reminiscent of a bygone era, captivated us. The location, a stone’s throw from Marble Arch, allowed us to easily explore London’s iconic landmarks.
The rooms were spacious for London, and the staff remained incredibly helpful throughout our stay. While the in-room breakfast was generous enough for two, it wasn’t quite as exceptional as our previous visit three years ago. Despite this minor detail, we still highly recommend The Leonard for its unique charm and excellent service.
A Traveler’s Paradise
My stay at The Leonard was nothing short of exceptional. The location was fantastic, and the suite I was given was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The staff’s helpfulness was outstanding, and the bathtub was the best I’ve encountered in London.
The Leonard Hotel is a true gem in London, offering a comfortable and memorable stay.
Family Friendly Haven
The Leonard Hotel is a perfect choice for families visiting London. The hotel’s ideal location makes it easy to explore the city’s many attractions. Beyond its location, The Leonard provides exceptional service and amenities that cater to the needs of families with children of all ages.
We stayed at The Leonard with our three children, aged 14, 10, and 5, and found it to be a perfect base for exploring London. We loved the hotel’s friendly atmosphere and the helpful staff who made us feel welcome. The Leonard is a hotel we would recommend to anyone traveling to London with children.
Quirky Charm
While I spent most of my time out and about exploring London, I found my room at The Leonard to be a delightful retreat. The location was superb, just a short walk from Oxford Street, yet surprisingly peaceful and quiet. The hotel has a unique character, with a charmingly worn-down aesthetic.
My room, number 17, was truly unique, featuring a private staircase leading directly into the room! The layout was intriguing, with a separate toilet accessed via hanging chains and a couple of steps leading up to the main room with a shower. Although the room had a vintage vibe, it was spotless and felt fresh. I loved the quirky charm of this room, and I highly recommend The Leonard for single travelers seeking a unique and memorable experience.
A Home Away From Home
We have been staying at The Leonard with our family for the past two years, and we can’t imagine choosing another hotel. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Central London, with Oxford Street just a minute away. It’s easy to reach restaurants, bars, and late-night eateries, and there’s even a Tesco supermarket on Edgware Road.
The breakfast is delicious, freshly prepared, and keeps you energized all day. The rooms could use a few modern touches, such as brighter lighting and updated bathrooms. However, the excellent staff and amenities more than make up for these minor drawbacks. The restaurant in the lobby is open 24 hours, and the housekeeping is impeccable. The reception staff is always friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home.
The Leonard Hotel is a wonderful option for anyone visiting London. We highly recommend it!
