A London Gem: The Leonard Hotel

Feeling stressed out after a terrible hotel experience? You’re not alone! This is exactly how I felt until I stumbled upon The Leonard. After a disastrous stay elsewhere, I was desperate for a comfortable and welcoming place to rest my head. Luckily, The Leonard was a mere 10-minute taxi ride away!

Let me tell you, this is no ordinary hotel. It’s a charming, old-fashioned establishment with a warm and genuine approach to hospitality. The staff were incredibly helpful, even though I booked my room just minutes before arriving. They were still arranging my room, but they welcomed me into the lounge with a glass of bubbly while I waited. My room was ready within 10 minutes! The service was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, and the food was fantastic. My room was cozy and inviting, and I couldn’t fault anything about this place, especially the value for money. It’s a definite “return visit” for me if I ever find myself in London again.

Elegance and Comfort in the Heart of London

The Leonard Hotel is more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and charm. The hotel’s elegant ambiance is a welcome change from the bustling city outside. My stay was even better when I was upgraded to a suite – talk about a mood booster! The spacious rooms are decorated with old-world elegance, and you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is truly perfect, a stone’s throw from Marble Arch, with easy access to everything London has to offer. The staff were incredibly helpful, making sure I had everything I needed.

The breakfast was a delightful surprise. Even though I only ordered a single serving, it was more than enough for two. While it wasn’t as good as the last time I stayed here three years ago, it was still a delicious start to my day.

A Home Away From Home

The Leonard is a gem in the heart of London, and I can’t recommend it enough! The hotel is perfect for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. I especially loved the spacious and comfortable suite I was given. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay.

The bathroom was a particular highlight! It was the best I’ve ever encountered in London, providing a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location is unbeatable, and the hotel’s atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

A Family-Friendly Haven

The Leonard is a haven for families traveling to London. The hotel’s location is ideal, with easy access to all the city’s attractions. But beyond that, the hotel provides a comfortable and relaxing environment for families of all sizes.

My family and I have stayed at The Leonard twice now, once in December 2012 and again in February 2015. Both times, our experience was exceptional. The hotel’s warm hospitality and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The location is ideal for families, with easy access to everything London has to offer. My kids especially enjoyed the hotel’s family-friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be returning for another visit soon!

A Quirky Charm

The Leonard is not your typical, modern hotel. It has a unique charm that sets it apart from the rest. The hotel’s slightly worn-down appearance may not be for everyone, but I found it to be part of its charm. The rooms are unique and quirky, and I loved the fact that my room had its own private stairs. The bathroom may not have a door, but it was clean and fresh.

If you’re a fit single traveler looking for a unique and affordable experience in London, then The Leonard is the perfect place for you. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, and the quirky charm of the rooms is sure to make your stay memorable.

A London Staple

The Leonard Hotel is a true gem in the heart of London. We’ve been staying here for the past two years, and we keep coming back for more. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, situated right in the heart of central London, with Oxford Street just a few minutes away. You have easy access to all the best restaurants, bars, and shops, including a Tesco on Edgware Road. The breakfast is a delightful spread of freshly prepared, wholesome food that keeps you going all day long.

While the rooms could use a few modern updates, they are still comfortable and clean. The lighting could be brighter, and the bathrooms could benefit from updated faucets. Despite these minor shortcomings, the hotel’s staff and amenities are more than amazing. The lobby restaurant is open 24 hours a day, housekeeping is done daily, and the reception staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

The Leonard Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in London. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the city.
