A London Gem: The Leonard Hotel

This charming hotel was a welcome surprise after a disappointing experience at another London hotel. I booked it on the fly, while still in a taxi, and was impressed by their quick and easy booking process – they only needed my name, no credit card details over the phone. The Leonard has a traditional, welcoming atmosphere that feels far from the impersonal nature of some larger chains. They were still preparing our room when we arrived, but the friendly staff quickly offered us a complimentary glass of champagne in the cozy lounge while we waited. Within 10 minutes, our room was ready.

The Leonard exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff is incredibly helpful and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We were delighted to find our room was even more charming than we anticipated, and the food was absolutely delicious. The value for money is fantastic, making The Leonard a truly exceptional find in London. We’ll definitely be back if we find ourselves in the city again.

A Welcoming Haven in London

Our arrival at The Leonard was even more pleasant than expected, as we were upgraded to a luxurious suite. This instantly put us in a positive mood. The hotel’s elegant, classic style and prime location, just steps from Marble Arch, are truly delightful. The rooms are spacious by London standards, and the staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. We ordered breakfast in our room, which was more than enough for two people, although it wasn’t quite as good as our last visit three years ago. Still, the overall experience at The Leonard continues to impress.

A Big, Beautiful Suite and More

My stay at The Leonard was simply incredible. The location is fantastic, and I was fortunate enough to be given a suite that was absolutely massive and incredibly comfortable. The staff is incredibly helpful and eager to assist with any request. The bathtub is a highlight, and I can confidently say it’s the best I’ve encountered in all my time in London. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-appointed place to stay in London.

A Perfect Place for Families

The Leonard Hotel is a fantastic choice for families traveling to London. The location is ideal, and everything about the hotel, from the service to the amenities, is excellent. Our family of five (two parents and three children aged 14, 10, and 5) had a wonderful time during our stays in December 2012 and February 2015. The hotel is spacious and comfortable enough to accommodate even larger families, and its prime location makes it easy to explore all that London has to offer. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a family-friendly hotel in London.

Quirky Charm in the Heart of London

The Leonard is a bit of a unique experience – a charming, slightly worn-down hotel with an unforgettable personality. I found myself enjoying the hotel’s quirks, especially my own room, with its unique layout and private staircase. Despite its age, the room was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a minute from Oxford Street, yet remarkably quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend The Leonard for single travelers seeking a unique and affordable stay in central London.

A Home Away From Home in London

I’ve been staying at The Leonard Hotel with my family for the past two years and can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s a true gem, perfectly situated in the heart of London, with easy access to Oxford Street, restaurants, bars, and late-night eateries. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared, providing plenty of energy for a day of exploring the city. Although the rooms could benefit from some modern touches, the staff, amenities, and 24-hour restaurant make up for any minor shortcomings. I always feel at home at The Leonard, and I’m confident anyone visiting London will enjoy their stay there.
