A London Gem: The Leonard Hotel

The Leonard Hotel is a true hidden gem in the heart of London. This hotel offers a unique blend of traditional charm and modern convenience, making it the perfect choice for travelers seeking an authentic London experience.

Escape the Ordinary

I stumbled upon The Leonard after a terrible experience at another hotel. In a moment of desperation, I booked a room while still in a taxi just minutes away. The hotel’s relaxed, old-school approach was a breath of fresh air. Despite my short notice booking, the staff quickly prepared my room, offering a glass of bubbly while I waited in the welcoming lounge.

The Leonard is a place where you feel truly cared for. The staff is incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The food is delicious, and the rooms have a cozy, home-like feel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, especially considering the excellent value for money. If I ever find myself needing a place to stay in London, I will definitely be returning to The Leonard.

A Touch of Elegance

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite, which added a touch of luxury to our stay. The Leonard has an undeniable elegance, with its classic style and prime location just a short walk from Marble Arch. The rooms are spacious for London standards, and the staff is incredibly helpful. Although our in-room breakfast was a little less impressive than it was on our previous visit three years ago, it was still more than enough for two people.

Exceptional Service and Location

I absolutely loved my stay at The Leonard. The location is unbeatable, and the suite I was given was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful, catering to all our needs. And the bathroom, oh my, it was the best I’ve ever had in London!

A Family-Friendly Haven

The Leonard is an ideal choice for families visiting London. Its prime location provides easy access to all the city’s attractions, and the hotel’s friendly staff is always happy to help. We particularly enjoyed our stays in December 2012 and February 2015, and we will undoubtedly choose The Leonard again for our next family trip to London. Thank you, The Leonard, for making our trips so memorable!

A Quirky Retreat for Solo Travelers

While I was always out and about exploring the city, I found the Leonard’s location to be perfect. Just a minute from Oxford Street but still wonderfully quiet and peaceful, it offered the best of both worlds. The hotel has a bit of a worn-down charm, which I personally found endearing. My room was the quirkiest I’ve ever seen, with its private staircase leading directly to the room, a separate toilet with hanging chains instead of a door, and a shower located within the room itself. Despite its quirks, the room was clean and comfortable. The Leonard is a great choice for independent travelers who appreciate unique experiences and enjoy a bit of a challenge.

A London Staple

We’ve been staying at The Leonard with our family for the past two years, and it has become our go-to London hotel. The location is unbeatable, with Oxford Street just a stone’s throw away, and easy access to restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. The hotel’s breakfast is delicious and keeps you fueled for a day of exploring the city. While the rooms could benefit from a few modern touches, the staff and amenities more than make up for it. The 24-hour restaurant in the lobby, daily housekeeping, and friendly, helpful reception staff make for a truly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend The Leonard to anyone visiting London.
