Just a minute from Oxford Street, it’s a perfect base for exploring the city’s shops and attractions, while still being quiet and peaceful. The hotel has a unique charm, a bit worn down perhaps, but in a way that adds to its personality. My room, number 17, was absolutely unique, with its private stairs, a separate WC with hanging chains instead of a door, and a shower within the room. It may not be for everyone, but I loved the quirky character of this room. For adventurous solo travelers seeking a memorable and affordable stay in the heart of London, The Leonard is a fantastic option.
