A London Gem: The Leonard Hotel

A sigh of relief. After a terrible experience at another hotel, I booked a room at The Leonard while in a taxi just 10 minutes away. They only needed my name, no credit card details over the phone. I arrived at a classic hotel, a welcome change from the impersonal, corporate chains. Due to my late booking, they were still getting my room ready, so I waited in the lounge with a glass of bubbly. Within 10 minutes, my room was ready!

Excellent service and cozy comfort. The staff was fantastic, always happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, and my room felt like a cozy home away from home. I couldn’t find fault with anything, especially the service and the reasonable prices. If I ever find myself in London again, I’ll definitely be returning.

A Suite Experience in London

A pleasant surprise. When I arrived, I was upgraded to a suite, which put me in a great mood! I adore the location and the charming atmosphere of The Leonard, a stylish jewel just a short walk from Marble Arch.

Old-world elegance and helpful staff. The rooms have a classic, elegant feel, and they’re a good size for London. The staff is incredibly helpful. We ordered breakfast in our room, and while it wasn’t as good as the last time we stayed three years ago, it was still more than enough for two people.

A Perfect Stay for Families

An unforgettable experience. I had a fantastic stay at The Leonard! The location is amazing, and the suite I was given was incredibly large and comfortable.

Top-notch service and amenities. The staff was incredibly helpful with any needs I had, and the bathtub was the best I’ve ever experienced in London.

The Leonard Hotel – ideal for families in London. The location is fantastic, and everything else about the hotel was excellent, matching the location.

A guaranteed family favorite. Our family (two parents and three children, ages 14, 10, and 5) stayed here in December 2012 and again in February 2015. If we ever get a chance to visit London again, The Leonard is where we’ll be staying! Thank you for being the best!

A Quirky Retreat in London

A central location with a unique charm. I spent most of my time in my room or exploring the city, so I don’t have much to say about the hotel itself. The location is ideal, just a minute from Oxford Street but still quiet and peaceful.

A bit worn but full of character. The hotel is a bit worn, but in a charming way. My room, room 17 if I remember correctly, was the most unique I’ve ever stayed in. You enter through a private staircase, climb up a flight and a half, then find yourself in a separate WC with hanging chains instead of a door. A couple more steps lead to the main room with a shower.

A haven for adventurous solo travelers. Even though it was a bit worn, the room was clean and fresh. I absolutely loved it! I highly recommend it to fit, adventurous solo travelers.

A Home Away from Home in Central London

A perfect location for exploring London. The Leonard is a true gem in the heart of London. We’ve been staying here with our family for the past two years. You can’t beat the location, it’s right in the center of London, with Oxford Street just a minute away! It’s easy to access restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and late-night eateries. There’s even a Tesco on Edgware Road.

A comfortable stay with friendly staff. The breakfast is wholesome and freshly prepared, enough to keep you going all day. While the rooms could use a few modern touches, the lighting could be brighter, and the bathrooms could have better faucets, the staff and amenities are incredible. The restaurant in the lobby is open 24 hours, housekeeping is done daily, and the reception staff is friendly and helpful.

A recommendation for your next London trip. I would highly recommend The Leonard to anyone visiting London!
