A London Gem: The Leonard Hotel

This hotel rescued my trip! After a terrible experience at another London hotel, I found myself frantically searching for a new place to stay. I booked a room at The Leonard Hotel while still in a taxi, just ten minutes away from my previous nightmare. The staff were incredibly accommodating, taking my booking over the phone without even requiring a credit card.

Warm Hospitality and Traditional Charm

The Leonard is a traditional hotel with a friendly atmosphere. Though my booking was last minute, they still managed to have my room ready within ten minutes. While I waited in the lounge, I was offered a complimentary glass of champagne. Throughout my stay, I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. The food was delicious, and the room was cozy and comfortable. I truly couldn’t fault the hotel in any way; their service and prices were outstanding. If I ever find myself in London again, I will definitely return to The Leonard. It’s a true hidden gem in the city.

A Suite Surprise and a Classic London Ambiance

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite. The Leonard boasts an elegant charm that perfectly captures the spirit of London. Its location near Marble Arch is ideal, placing you within easy reach of the city’s most famous landmarks. The rooms have a classic, elegant feel, and despite being in London, they are surprisingly spacious. The staff, as always, were incredibly helpful and attentive.

Although our in-room breakfast was plentiful enough for two, it wasn’t quite as good as during our previous visit three years ago. However, it was still a good start to the day.

An Incredible Stay: Spacious, Comfortable, and Helpful Staff

My stay at The Leonard was fantastic! The location is perfect, and I was lucky enough to be given a suite that was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful with any needs I had. The bathroom was truly exceptional – the best I’ve experienced in London.

A Family-Friendly Oasis in London

The Leonard is a perfect choice for families visiting London. We had a wonderful time there, with its ideal location and fantastic amenities. Our family, including two parents and three kids, has enjoyed two separate stays at The Leonard, and we would definitely choose it again. The hotel exceeded our expectations on both occasions.

A Quirky and Convenient Stay

I spent most of my time exploring London, so I didn’t have a chance to spend much time at the hotel. However, its location was perfect, just a short walk from Oxford Street but still quiet and peaceful. The hotel is a bit worn down, but in a charming way.

My room was unlike anything I’d seen before; a quirky masterpiece with its own private stairs leading directly into the room. The bathroom was a bit unconventional, with separate toilet and a shower directly in the room. Though the room was a little worn, it was clean and fresh. I loved the unique style and highly recommend this hotel for solo travellers who are looking for a different kind of experience.

A Classic London Hotel with Modern Amenities

I’ve been staying at The Leonard with my family for the past two years. Its location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Central London, just a short walk from Oxford Street. You have easy access to restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and even late-night eateries. There’s even a Tesco supermarket on Edgware Road.

The breakfast is delicious and wholesome, freshly prepared, and enough to keep you going all day. While the rooms could use a few modern updates, such as brighter lighting and more modern bathroom fixtures, the staff and amenities are fantastic. The hotel has a 24-hour restaurant in the lobby, daily housekeeping, and incredibly friendly and helpful reception staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.
