Mimosa House, a haven for LGBTQIA+, POC, and diasporic artists, was the perfect backdrop for the evening’s kickoff. Founded by curator Daria Khan, a dedicated advocate for diverse voices, the gallery buzzed with anticipation as guests gathered to experience the powerful artistry of Marikiscrycrycry and Vir Andres Hera.
Then, the energy shifted with the arrival of Maltese artist Romeo Roxman Gatt. As they performed surgeries on an artificial womb, the audience was captivated by the unfolding metamorphosis and the birth of a new creature.
