A Mixed Bag: Some Positives and Negatives
This hotel has both strong points and areas for improvement. The gentleman who checked us out was friendly and helpful, leaving a positive impression. However, we experienced a rather unpleasant incident involving a staff member who, at 6 AM, aggressively knocked on our neighbor’s door, disturbing our sleep for an extended period. We reported the incident to reception, but unfortunately, the hotel’s management dismissed our concerns. While we understand that all hotels have policies, we believe that respecting guests’ sleep is paramount, especially after long-haul flights.
Despite this negative experience, we appreciated the hotel’s excellent breakfast options, offering a diverse selection of hot and cold dishes and tasty coffee. We also found the sports lounge a convenient spot to relax before heading to the airport.

I chose this hotel for its convenient location near Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5. While the hotel may have a slightly dated aesthetic, I find its charm endearing, especially for plane enthusiasts. The hotel’s location offers excellent views for plane spotting. I particularly appreciate the added touch of shortbread biscuits in the room alongside the tea and coffee. Thank you to Parik, Mechell, and the diligent cleaner who always takes the time to tidy up the fallen leaves. I will definitely return to this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located just 2 kilometers from Terminal 2. As you exit the terminal, you’ll find yourself in the parking lot where the 10# bus stop is located. Take the bus corresponding to your hotel; different lines operate in loops. If you prefer a taxi, they are readily available, and we were able to secure one within 3 minutes.
