A London Escape: The Leonard Hotel

Feeling stressed after a bad hotel experience? I know that feeling! I was so relieved when I found The Leonard. It’s a classic hotel with a personal touch, a world away from those big, impersonal chains.

Let me tell you how it all went down. I booked my room while I was in a taxi, just ten minutes away from the hotel! I was impressed that they only needed my name – no need to give my credit card details over the phone. When I arrived, they were still getting my room ready. No problem, I thought. I was happy to enjoy a glass of champagne in their elegant lounge. Ten minutes later, my room was ready.

The service at The Leonard is simply fantastic. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I loved the cozy atmosphere and the delicious food. Honestly, I couldn’t fault anything about this hotel – especially the price and the outstanding service. If I ever need to travel to London again, I’ll be booking a room at The Leonard without hesitation. It’s one of London’s hidden gems!

A Room with a View: The Leonard’s Suite

My stay at The Leonard was even better than I expected! Upon arrival, they surprised me with an upgrade to a suite! Talk about a mood booster! I love the location of this hotel. It’s right near Marble Arch – so elegant and charming. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a classic feel. They’re also surprisingly spacious for London. The staff are absolutely wonderful – always ready to help.

The only tiny drawback was breakfast. I ordered room service for one, but it was more than enough for two people. It wasn’t quite as good as the last time I stayed here three years ago, but still enjoyable.

The Leonard: An Unforgettable Stay

I truly loved my stay at The Leonard! The location is fantastic – I was so happy to have been upgraded to a suite. It was incredibly spacious and comfortable. I especially loved the bathroom – it was the best I’ve ever had in London!

The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed.

A Family-Friendly London Hotel

The Leonard is the perfect place for families visiting London. It’s perfectly located, and everything about the hotel was excellent.

Our family (two parents and three children – 14, 10, and 5) had a wonderful time at The Leonard, both in December 2012 and February 2015. It’s our go-to hotel when we visit London! We highly recommend it!

A Quirky, Convenient Stay at The Leonard

To be honest, I wasn’t in the hotel much. I was out exploring London, and then I was back in my room for the night. The location is perfect – just a minute away from Oxford Street but still peaceful and quiet.

I have to admit, the hotel is a bit worn down. But maybe that’s part of its charm! My room (number 17, if I remember correctly) was the most unique room I’ve ever seen! It had private stairs leading directly into the room – a one and a half flight staircase! The bathroom was right at the entrance, with hanging chains instead of a door. And then, a couple more steps led to the main room with a shower. It was definitely a bit worn, but it was clean and fresh. I loved it! This hotel is perfect for fit, single travelers who appreciate unique experiences.

A Home Away from Home: The Leonard Hotel

The Leonard has become our family’s favorite London hotel. We’ve been staying here for the past two years! You can’t beat the location. It’s right in the heart of central London, just a few minutes walk from Oxford Street. It’s easy to get to restaurants, bars, supermarkets – even late-night eateries. There’s a Tesco just down the road on Edgware Road.

The breakfast is delicious and fresh. It’s enough to keep you going all day long. The rooms could definitely use a few modern touches. The lighting could be brighter, and the bathrooms could use some updated faucets. But overall, the staff and amenities are fantastic. The lobby restaurant is open 24 hours, housekeeping is done every day, and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend The Leonard to anyone visiting London!
