A London Gem: The Leonard Hotel

Escape from the ordinary and discover a hidden treasure in the heart of London – The Leonard Hotel. This charming hotel is a welcome haven for weary travelers seeking a respite from the bustling city.

A Refresher After a Rough Start

After a terrible experience at another hotel, I found myself frantically searching for a new place to stay. Luckily, I was able to book a room at The Leonard Hotel while in a taxi just ten minutes away. The booking process was surprisingly easy – all they needed was my name! I arrived at this traditional hotel, a world away from the impersonal corporate chains. They were still arranging my room due to the short notice, but that didn’t stop them from offering me a glass of bubbly while I waited in their cozy lounge. Within minutes, my room was ready.

The staff at The Leonard Hotel went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They were always happy to help, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was delicious, and my room felt like a cozy home away from home. I couldn’t fault this hotel in any way, particularly the exceptional service and the value for money. I’ll definitely be back if I ever need to travel to London again.

A Charming Hotel with a Touch of Elegance

My stay at The Leonard Hotel was nothing short of delightful. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite! The hotel’s location is perfect, a stone’s throw from Marble Arch. It exudes an air of elegance that feels so refreshing in the midst of the busy city. The rooms are spacious for London, retaining their old-world charm. The staff is incredibly helpful, always willing to lend a hand.

While I enjoyed the in-room breakfast, it wasn’t quite as good as it was three years ago. But even so, it was more than enough for two people.

A Perfect Home Base for Exploring London

The Leonard Hotel was simply perfect for my London adventure. The location is excellent, allowing for easy access to all the city’s attractions. I was blown away by my suite – it was incredibly large and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful, always happy to assist with any need. The bathroom was the best I’ve ever encountered in London.

A Family-Friendly Haven in the City

The Leonard Hotel is an excellent choice for families traveling to London. It offers a perfect combination of ideal location and outstanding amenities. My family, including two parents and three children, had a fantastic time during our visits in December 2012 and February 2015. We loved the hotel’s convenience and friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to London!

A Quirky and Convenient Stay

I was constantly on the go during my stay, so I didn’t spend much time in the hotel. However, The Leonard Hotel’s location is unbeatable. It’s just a minute from Oxford Street but still manages to feel quiet and peaceful. The hotel might seem a bit worn down, but that’s part of its unique charm.

My room was quirky and full of character – I loved it! The stairs led directly into the room, which was a bit of a surprise! The bathroom was separate, with hanging chains instead of a door. The shower was in the room itself, which was a bit unusual. Although the room was a bit worn, it was clean and fresh. I highly recommend The Leonard Hotel to fit single travelers looking for a unique and convenient stay.

A Family-Friendly Choice with a Central Location

The Leonard Hotel has been my family’s go-to spot in London for the past two years. You can’t beat its central location, just minutes from Oxford Street. It’s easy to find restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and late-night eateries. There’s even a Tesco on Edgware Road!

The breakfast is hearty and freshly prepared, perfect for fueling your day of exploring. While the rooms could use a few modern updates, like brighter lighting and updated bathrooms, the staff and amenities make up for it. The hotel’s restaurant is open 24/7, housekeeping is done daily, and the reception staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I’d recommend The Leonard Hotel to anyone visiting London!
