However, The Leonard’s location was perfect, just a minute from Oxford Street yet tucked away in a peaceful haven. While some might say the hotel is a bit worn down, I found it charming. My room, number 17, was the most unique I’ve ever encountered. Imagine this: private stairs leading directly to your room, a separate WC with hanging chains instead of a door, and a shower within the actual room. Though it was a little dated, it was spotless and refreshing. I absolutely loved it! If you’re a fit single traveler, The Leonard is a fantastic option.

The breakfast is hearty and freshly prepared, keeping you energized throughout the day. While the rooms could benefit from a modern makeover, with brighter lighting and updated bathroom fixtures, the staff and amenities are more than impressive. The lobby restaurant is open 24 hours, housekeeping is done daily, and the reception staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend The Leonard Hotel to anyone visiting London.
