A New Look for a Growing Brand

Leonardo Hotels, a renowned hotel group with a portfolio of over 200 hotels across Europe and Israel, is making exciting changes! The group, which owns 51 hotels, including 46 in the UK and 5 in Ireland, is bringing its Jurys Inn hotels under the Leonardo brand. This rebranding reflects the group’s ambitious plans for growth and expansion.

This move is a testament to the group’s commitment to building a strong brand identity. The Leonardo brand, known for its contemporary design and engaging experiences, will be rolled out across all Jurys Inn hotels in the UK and Ireland. This shift aims to create a unified brand experience for guests while offering a fresh and modern perspective.

Expansion & Innovation

The Fattal Hotel Group, the parent company of Leonardo Hotels, has been actively expanding its presence in Europe since 2006. The group is committed to offering unique and memorable experiences to its guests. They are currently working on developing new hotels and enhancing existing ones across the UK and Ireland.

Exciting new projects are in the pipeline. In Edinburgh, they’re building a 125-room boutique NYX Hotel in the Old Town. A 100-room extension is also planned for the rebranded Leonardo Hotel in Edinburgh, adding to the city’s vibrant hotel scene.

Manchester will welcome a brand-new Leonardo Hotel this spring. The hotel boasts a unique design inspired by Jenga blocks, with lush greenery adding a touch of nature. Guests will enjoy a ground floor restaurant, a cafe bar, and a terrace area connecting to the new public square in Piccadilly East.

A History of Investment

The Fattal Hotel Group believes in investing in its properties to ensure the highest standards of quality and comfort for its guests. Over the past four years, they have poured nearly £100 million into new openings and refurbishments.

This includes the complete makeover of 926 bedrooms across Jurys Inn hotels in Croydon and Exeter. The Leonardo hotels at London Heathrow, Edinburgh Murrayfield, and Leonardo Royal Hotel in Southampton have also benefited from these investments.

The Manchester Midland hotel, acquired in 2018, has received a significant £13.9 million investment. This investment transformed the venue, ensuring it meets the high standards of the Leonardo brand.

The Leonardo Royal Hotels in London City, Tower Bridge, and St Paul’s, and NYX Hotel London Holborn received a whopping £34.5 million investment, revitalizing over 1,300 bedrooms and upgrading the public areas. This investment includes the introduction of exciting new dining concepts like NYX Eat Drink Play, Leo’s, and the rooftop bar Sabine at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s.

Looking Ahead

The Fattal Hotel Group is committed to continuing its growth in the UK and Ireland. Their ambitious plans include new acquisitions, developments, and enhancements to their products and services. The rebranding of Jurys Inn to Leonardo is just the first step in their exciting journey to become one of the leading hotel groups in the UK and Ireland.

Leonardo Hotels is looking forward to welcoming guests to their 51 unique destinations, offering them an unforgettable experience with their contemporary design and engaging brand.
