We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Innovation Engineer to join our Business Improvement and Innovation team within the Engineering department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a department that is at the heart of our commitment to re-imagine how we fly.

This is your chance to make a real difference. As an Automation Innovation Engineer, you will:

  • Transform strategic initiatives into automated solutions. This will streamline our operations and enhance overall performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to explore emerging automation technologies. You will develop and rapidly implement short and mid-term Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Power Platform solutions and prototypes.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to integrate automation into processes within the Engineering department. Your expertise in automation and ability to rapidly deliver solutions will be essential to make a step change in business efficiency and foster a culture of innovation across our Engineering operation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing solutions to automate processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate specialized knowledge into Engineering operations.
  • Sharing best practices and providing guidance to other team members.
  • Establishing metrics and KPIs to control and evaluate the success of improvement initiatives.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in tools and technologies related to robotic process automation, particularly UIPath.
  • Expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, especially: Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to implement innovative RPA solutions that result in tangible business benefits.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insight from data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Previous experience in the design and deployment of RPA solutions that deliver significant business benefits.
  • Additional certifications or training in RPA technologies and methodologies is a plus.
