Covent Garden: A Hub for Sustainable Shopping

Covent Garden is a haven for conscious shoppers, embracing sustainable practices and partnering with eco-conscious brands. We’re thrilled to highlight some of the amazing businesses making a difference in the heart of London!

Shop Sustainable and Eco-Friendly at Covent Garden

Covent Garden is committed to sustainability, and it shows! Many of our partner brands are part of the Great British Brands ZERO initiative, showcasing their dedication to environmentally responsible practices.

Whether you’re searching for eco-friendly makeup or ethical clothing, you’ll find an abundance of options at Covent Garden. We are proud to be a hub for sustainable shopping in London.

L’Occitane: Eco-Conscious Beauty

Nestled in the Market Building, L’Occitane is a beacon of sustainability. Their dedication to the environment is evident in their efforts to reduce waste and encourage recycling.

L’Occitane has partnered with TerraCycle® to offer a convenient recycling program. Simply bring in your empty L’Occitane or other beauty product containers to any L’Occitane boutique for responsible disposal. As a bonus, you’ll receive a 10% discount on a new full-priced product!

L’Occitane also champions refillable packaging, offering a wide range of refills for their popular products. This lets you reuse containers and minimize waste. Their refill range has recently expanded to include shampoo, conditioner, bath, hand wash, cleansers, and more! You can either bring your empties in-store or utilize their recyclable envelopes made from sugarcane, provided in-store with product purchases. Simply place your empties in the envelope and return them via your local post office – it’s that easy!

White Pine: Natural Homeware

White Pine embodies the spirit of sustainability in every aspect. They offer a delightful selection of plants to bring a touch of greenery to your home and all their packaging is compostable. Their commitment to nature is even reflected in their name! Did you know the company was named after the White Pine tree, symbolizing peace and serenity?

White Pine carefully curates their homeware products, drawing inspiration from nature to promote awareness about protecting our planet for future generations.

Vintage Threads: Sustainable Style

Vintage Threads, a London-based vintage and reworked clothing retailer, is a new addition to Seven Dials. They specialize in a unique blend of vintage sportswear, 80s and 90s designer pieces, offering a curated collection of hand-picked and affordable vintage clothing.

Vintage Threads takes sustainability a step further with their in-house VT Rework collection. They creatively combine vintage items to craft truly unique pieces, breathing new life into pre-loved garments.

Meander Apparel: Sustainable Outdoorwear

Meander Apparel prioritizes both comfort and sustainability in their outdoor wear. They craft functional and versatile clothing that lets you embrace the outdoors while making a positive impact on the world.

From the start, Meander Apparel has offset their carbon emissions by partnering with Forest Carbon and planting trees in Scottish woodland. 90% of their collection is made from either natural or recycled materials. They are also members of 1% For the Planet, donating at least 1% of their sales annually to amazing charities.

EPC: Sustainable Scents

Seven Dials is fortunate to be home to EPC’s flagship store. Their hand-blended fragrances are vegan, cruelty-free, and the brand is carbon positive. They choose to use glass and paper packaging instead of plastic.

EPC distinguishes itself as one of the few fragrance brands offering heavily discounted refills (both online and in-store), allowing you to replenish your favorite scent repeatedly while minimizing your environmental footprint.

Covent Garden is a thriving hub for sustainable shopping, showcasing brands dedicated to making a positive impact on the planet. Whether you’re seeking eco-friendly beauty products, natural homeware, vintage fashion, or sustainable outdoor wear, you’ll find it all at Covent Garden, where conscious shopping is a way of life.
