Planning Your Visit to Tate Modern: Accessibility Features & Information

Welcome to Tate Modern! We are committed to making your visit as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Here’s a guide to help you navigate our gallery with ease:

Parking

Need accessible parking? We offer 12 dedicated parking spaces for visitors with disabilities. These spaces are conveniently located on Park Street and can be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

To book your accessible parking space: Simply call us and provide your name, contact details, vehicle registration number, and your preferred date and time of visit.

Once you’ve parked, you can access the gallery through the South Entrance of the Blavatnik Building. This entrance is located on a level terrace, just a short walk (approximately 30-60 meters) from the parking spaces.

Getting Around

Moving within the gallery: We have two RADAR Key operated lifts connecting the South Entrance on Level 1 to the Ticket desks in the Turbine Hall. These keys are readily available from staff at the South Entrance on Level 1 and the Ticket desks on Level 0.

Need a wheelchair or mobility scooter? We have a selection of both available for loan. Wheelchairs and walkers can be borrowed on the spot, subject to availability, or booked in advance. Mobility scooters must be booked at least 24 hours in advance and require you to have prior experience driving one.

To make a reservation for a wheelchair or scooter: Simply call us at +44 (0)20 7887 8888 and select option 1 (available daily from 10:00 – 17:00).
